Jerusalem Talmud - The Jerusalem Talmud (In Hebrew Talmud Yerushalmi, in short known as the Yerushalmi), also known as the Palestinian Talmud is a collection of Rabbinic discussions in Western Aramaic elaborating on the Mishnah, collected in the Land of Israel in the same period as the Babylonian Talmud. Nonetheless, this collection is less studied than its Eastern counterpart, as it was hasitily redacted about two hundred years earlier and is a much smaller work.

Sanhedrin (tractate) - Sanhedrin (סנהדרין) is one of ten tractates of the Nezikin, a section of the Mishnah, a major source of rabbinic Judaism's religious texts. Interpretations and commentaries on the Sanhedrin by rabbis, as recorded in the Talmud, are noteworthy as precursors to the development of common law principles.

Raba (Talmud) - Raba or Raba Ben Joseph Ben Hama(c. 280-352) was a Babylonian rabbi in the Talmud known as an Amora.

Ashi - Ashi, known as Rav Ashi ("Rabbi Ashi"), (352–427) was a celebrated Jewish religious scholar, a Babylonian 'amora, who reestablished the academy at Sura and was first editor of the Babylonian Talmud. According to a tradition preserved in the academies, Rav Ashi was born in the same year that Rava, the great teacher of Mahuza, died, and he was the first teacher of any importance in the Talmudic Academies in Babylonia after Raba's death.
